Why do we need art?
The famous Russian scientist in the field of neuroscience and psycholinguistics, prof. Tatyana Chernigovskaya, identifies two of the most important functions of art - communicative, for communication between people and creative, giving art the ability to shape the surrounding reality.
I have always shared the esteemed professor's view and stressed the importance of studying this complex material. After all, art, being an example of non-verbal communication contributes, without parallel, to the development and formation of human personality.
Our communication with the object, its identification and acceptance directly depends on our preparation. Together, I propose to organize lectures and individual classes, seminars and conferences for the study of antiques and art history.
